Issue

The information hub is intended to offer residents and visitors up-to-date information on events, attractions and local businesses in this popular East Devon town. The previous site was difficult to update, slow and not mobile-friendly. Consequently, it had minimal impact on promoting the town.

Solution

Connexion Software created a modern responsive website and online directory to promote the town and engage and encourage visitors.

Local businesses are signing up to the directory because there is greater exposure through a well designed and more usable site. There is greater Interest in collaborative promotion of the site via the newly formed Ottery Business Forum. Visitor numbers to the site are significantly increased and continuing to grow. Feedback from the community has been very favourable.
