Issue

373 Group as a new networking group had no online presence other than through social media accounts. There was a need to create a website to publicise the group and the benefits of joining. The website also needed to offer a vibrant platform for publishing regular updates and for engaging and promoting local businesses. It was essential to keep administration costs low so everything had to be easy to manage.

Solution

Connexion Software created a modern, professional and friendly website to promote the group’s ethos, events and business news. The site reflects the values of "Friendship, Collaboration, Knowledge" and the "Friendliest business networking group in the South West."

The bespoke database driven CMS supports the following essential functions:

• Blog/News
• Members Directory to promote member businesses, social media exposure
• Contact form
• Annual Awards Nomination form with data capture.
• Events diary integrated with EventBrite, events are created on EventBrite and appear on 373 Group page with booking links.

Results

The site is integral to the growth and success of the network. It has helped to build an active, thriving business community based on friendship and collaboration. Membership is growing as are the numbers of visitors to events.

The 2017 Awards Evening was a great success with a large number of nominations all managed through the websites. They now hold the Awards Evening as an annual event.
